At Oroton we are finding ways to lessen our impact on the planet by beginning to off-set our carbon footprint. To do this, we have partnered with Clima, a platform that allows our customers to contribute to one of three environmental and climate change projects.

MOOMBIDARY FOREST REGENERATION
Location: Queensland
The Traditional Custodians have formed a unique collaboration with the property owner to partner on a native forest regeneration carbon farming project on the Moombidary Station. The project is reducing the impact of agricultural practices on regenerating trees, including by investing in new infrastructure and establishing rotational grazing practices.
DARLING RIVER CONSERVATION SITE #8
Location: Western New South Wales
The Everdale Human-Induced Regeneration carbon project aims to restore and rejuvenate over 5,000 hectares of acacia woodland and eucalypt forest in the Western Division of New South Wales. These ecosystems are home to a variety of species, including many iconic Australian species, and provide important ecosystem services such as biodiversity, carbon capture, and soil and water conservation.
MAI NDOMBE REDD+
Location: Congo Basin DRC
Located in the Democratic republic of Congo the Project protects 300,000 hectares of critical Bonobo and forest Elephant habitat . It is the worlds second largest in tact rainforest. The Mai Ndombe REDD+ Project, located in western DRC, Africa, will protect 248,956 hectares of forest from industrial logging, unsustainable fuel wood extraction and slash and burn agriculture.
