POWER TO BLOOM
Oroton’s Spring-Summer 23 collection is inspired by the joy of spring blooms, of rejuvenation and the energy that comes from new beginnings. The idea stemmed from a feeling brought on by verdant colour and fresh botanical prints – the design team has been thinking about palette and how it can lift a mood. That vision translated into a striking edit of primary colours – count Poppy red, Vibrant yellow and bright Jewel Green in the mix – set against a backdrop of the house’s favourite neutrals, Navy, Clotted Cream, French Vanilla, Toffee and Lemon Zest.

There are other bright themes at play, too. Draping becomes a point of interest - seen on the Jewel Green Cape Blouse - an effect designed to work back with clean-lined foundation pieces in bold primary colours that play against each other.
Add to that, artful touches and textural delights: throughout the season, we see a layering of beautifully detailed statement pieces, including a Fringed Mini Dress and matching skirt finished with raffia, which lends the collection an unexpected twist.
It’s a storyline that comes to life via the season’s latest campaign imagery photographed by Georges Antoni - an industrial greenhouse is the backdrop. Here, rows of blooms and microgreens talk to the collection’s bold botanical motifs and colours. Vintage illustrations of geraniums, spring tulips, dandelions and lily of the valley are made modern when worked into garden party dresses and embroidered shirts.

The finishing touch? Functionality has always been synonymous with the Oroton brand, and this season that idea morphs into a collection of neat, clean-lined accessories. Architectural top handle bags are seen alongside classic saddle styles in warm shades of Camel, Amber and Dark Treehouse Green - the ultimate exclamation point for any look.

The bucket bag is another talking point: we're swooning over the covetable Post Bucket, a chic new addition shown in rich Amber and Cognac leathers, bold yet classic. Then there's the Carter Day Bag in Lemon Butter, another timeless style that works day to night. Here, exceptional craftsmanship and supple leathers up the refinement factor.
