NEW BOTANICALS
OUR SIGNATURE PRINTS OF THE SEASON
There has been a lot of talk recently about workwear and our return to the office: the power of a well-designed suit and how to extend your wardrobe across the week. But ever since Oroton’s Sophie Holt proposed a series of botanical prints, suddenly we’re in a whole different place.
The mood feels sunny and warm. It's as if those modern florals provide a different perspective, a bright touch. Yes, you can dress with clean-lines and a sharp eye, but you can do it with personality, too.

MARCH 2023
Link that idea to Oroton’s personal history as the company moves into its 85th anniversary year. Here, new season’s motifs celebrate past and present – from a vintage-inspired Midnight Poppy print to a garden design featuring ferns and butterflies stamped with 1938, the founding year. There is a grown-up sense of whimsy to it all – from the elegant Spaced Floral Print Dress and Blouse, and the beautifully relaxed Midnight Poppy Dress, Camp Shirt and PJ Pant, to the chic Fern Garden Shirt and Column Dress. It’s a nod to the spirit of the brand and a major clue to its dedication to craft and ingenuity.
Art has always been a big passion for the Creative Director, whose recent musings on beauty, nature and colour, has brought about a swing shift when it comes to dressing for parties and the office. Her magic formula? Combine clever palettes with signature artworks, beautiful tailoring, utility shapes – and a knowing spark of confidence.
