The Future Looks Bright

A COLOUR FULL SEASON

THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT

There is something illuminating, if you’ll excuse the pun, about dressing in the season’s key brights: a zinging shade of Vivid Yellow, a hit of Poppy, Oroton’s signature red. Two mood-lifting colours that encourage a little daring in our approach to dressing right now.

THE DESIGN TEAM HAS BEEN THINKING ABOUT PALETTE AND THE WAY IT CAN BOOST THE SPIRITS

Visualise a moodboard that includes warm neutrals, such as Almond, Toffee and Vanilla Bean, sparked by brilliant primary shades, add in graphic motifs of quilt prints and botanicals, and you’ll arrive at a sartorial story that is complex, rich and unexpected, yet layers together beautifully.

PART OF THE ALLURE IS IN THE COLLECTION'S ENERGY

The house design codes are built around a sense of spirit and personality, and that rings true this season via a few surprises: tailored Pleat Pants in Vivid Yellow become a new basic, the style works back with silk patterned Camp Shirts and Double Breasted Blazers, and then there’s the chic Bodice Dress, Silk Bralette and Shell Top – all minimalist shapes in traffic-stopping hues.

THE FINISHING TOUCH

A concise range of modern utility-inspired accessories designed around the importance of form and artisan craft – with a heavy dose of personality thrown in for good measure. Take the best-selling Margot, a small bucket bag shown in a run of primary colours designed to complement the apparel collections. (North Sea and Sunshine yellow are the accessory team’s favourite jolts here). The carryall proves an easy entree when it comes to wearing bold hits of colour to the office, but still confirms you as a creative decision maker – and optimist. The future looks bright.
